Open the match with one question: why was Castle Age late, why did military production stop, why did the army lose value, or where did the team plan break down? A narrow question makes the replay review actionable.
Feudal and Castle timings are useful checkpoints, but faster is not automatically better. Compare the timestamp with Feudal investment, enemy pressure and the follow-up that the new age unlocked.
You can choose the correct counter and still lose if the transition starts too late or production is inconsistent. Review both the composition and whether the economy actually sustained the units that the plan required.
One match can be unusual. If the same timing, production or composition problem appears across several recent games, it becomes a stronger practice target. Use player stats and match history to find repetition before drawing a broad conclusion.
A pocket, flank and support role can produce different age timings and army totals. Judge whether allied choices complemented one another and answered the opposing team instead of expecting every player to optimize the same metric.
Do not leave the review with six goals. Choose one change that can be checked next game: keep production active, prepare the counter earlier, protect the Castle Age transition, or coordinate the complementary unit line sooner.
Start with your player profile and recent match history. Select the match that represents the problem you want to solve. Use replay evidence to diagnose the most defensible cause, choose one practical change and then check the same signal after the next few games.
This creates a feedback loop instead of a collection of disconnected tips. If the target was Castle Age execution, compare the transition and follow-up again. If it was army composition, check whether the counter or support line appeared earlier and stayed in production.
Broad advice such as “play faster” or “make more army” is difficult to test. A better target is concrete: keep two production buildings active after reaching Castle Age, stop continuing a unit line into its counter, or coordinate the allied support unit before the next pressure window.
