Public match analysis works without registration. This notice explains what aoe2team processes, for how long, and how to exercise your data-protection rights.
Searches use public AoE profile IDs, aliases, country codes, ratings, match metadata and official replay files. Public results are requested when a visitor searches. Replays are parsed transiently for analysis and are not saved by aoe2team.
When a public Steam ID is present, aoe2team may request its public profile image through Steam Community and proxy it to the browser. Images are refreshed periodically and may be cached briefly for performance. Private Steam information is not requested.
The public search does not require an account. Optional ChatGPT sign-in supplies the email address and display name needed for the account. aoe2team stores the linked AoE profile ID, favorites and access grants in its application database.
aoe2team counts page views, searches and replay-analysis success in daily aggregates. A rotating one-day hash provides an approximate daily visitor count. Raw IP addresses, user-agent strings, visited player IDs and cross-site advertising identifiers are not stored. Daily hashes are deleted after 31 days and aggregates after 400 days. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track are respected.
Account data is not sold or used for advertising. It is processed only by the hosting, identity and game-data services necessary to operate aoe2team. Access controls, validation, rate limits, restrictive browser headers and data minimisation reduce risk, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Public replay files are parsed transiently and are not retained. Account data stays until the account is deleted. Daily visitor hashes last 31 days, aggregate audience data 400 days, and privacy requests 90 days. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection. Signed-in users can also delete their account directly from the account panel.
This form is stored only for handling the request and is automatically deleted after 90 days.
